The Merry Wives of WindsorYSP is staging The Merry Wives of Windsor in May 2012 at York's Rowntree Park. We are also travelling to The Dell (the RSC's outdoor performance area) in Stratford on June 10th for a one off performance. York Shakespeare Project... is committed to performing all of Shakespeare's known plays in York over a period of about 20 years. In addition to staging the plays, the Project aims to provide an educational aspect to each production. Founded as a charitable trust in 2002, we have so far produced 16 plays, including As You Like It in the shadow of York Minster in July 2008 and, since then, The Merchant of Venice, Julius Caesar and Richard II at 41 Monkgate.
